C'mon Isles are trading their top Dman for that. If you like Kuemper for a one year back up fine, but Horton doesn't affect the cap at all, so what's the purpose Horton in the trade?
Even at that the cap ain't right.

No one is going to take Horton, he has one year left, plus he is in LTIR, so doesn't even affect our cap. So you're offering Holl and a second for Kuemper? I don't even understand that trade.

Nashville has more than enough middle six centres, but a shallow prospect pool. They need their 1st more than they need Kadri.

Seeing as Keumper just carried the Coyotes within 4 points of a playoff berth and Rantaa is always hurt, I don't see them trading him this year. Especially not for the Leafs dead money and a career minor league defenseman
