I really do feel like there is a trade to be made between Vegas and the Habs based on the Habs taking Clarkson’s contract. Got any LHD to spare? Say in return for a middle 6F?

I agree that that Chicago would agree to that. But would he be a 2c or wing? Where would Strome play if he's 2c?

I think there might be a better deal for Gustafsson +picks, prospects, and Perlini if the Hawks are willing to take back dead money. Say Callahan, and 2 of Cirelli, Miller, Foote, or Sergachev

Perhaps Miller could go to Montreal instead of Toronto. Who would be the prospect to make it worth while for VGK?

Depends on what you need. The Habs have an abundance of RHD prospects knocking on the NHL’s door.
