I think they are all pretty close in value. The only trade I don’t see happening is the Rangers one, I don’t see them trading Georgiev

Yea its a tough call, I think NYR have Shestyorkin higher on their depth chart right now VS's Georgiev but I could be wrong. I'd swap prospects if need be smile

I like but don't see jankowski being moved too valuable for the flames. Since just out of speculation with Ryan's play last year if he can continue that giving his age and contract he would be a chip mid season or deadline so yeah don't move jankowski

Pretty sure the Wild deal was Frolik and Bennett for Zucker. Supposedly both GMs agreed, but something else held up the deal. Given that Bennett and Zucker can't block a trade yet, I'm guessing Minnesota is on Frolik's 10 team no-trade list.

Jankowski wont be in our plans long term, too inconsistent and hasn't been able to produce much offensively, its easy to forget he's already 25. I'd much rather use his cap space elsewhere on either a younger player or towards a bigger fish who we can keep long term (3-4 years) as we have a 3Y window to push for a cup.

That's not how it reads to me, it says specifically Frolik/Bennett not Frolik + Bennett but it would not surprise me if they assume we'll give them both. Calgary wont however.
Both GM's were rumored to have a deal in place at the deadline (Frolik and a 1st or 2nd round pick) that was agreed to on both teams, but there was an error on MIN's end that didnt allow the trade call to go through on time. It was confirmed Frolik was okay with the move, in fact his agent has already publicly chastised the Flames (playing time concerns) so I doubt he'd nixed any move at this point.

I also read about Frolik and a 1st for Zucker (didn't sound like any picks going back), but I've also read Bennett/Frolik (unclear on if it's both or either) with no pick so sorta confusing. Good to hear that at least it sounds like Frolik would want to come to Minnesota.

What part of Jankowski is valuable? I think this may be the last year he has any hint of decent trade value. he is a half decent bottom C with a low ceiling, lacks any offensive ability to drive a line from the middle, is a liability in the defensive zone, people say he can kill penalties but that is strictly because he scored a few on the PK, most of which other player contributed to his chance more than he did himself. He's just not very good and there are better options everywhere.

Granted he got help getting those goals on the pk but that's called a team effort and he lead the league in short handed goals. And yes he's a bottom six guy his value don't come in points his value to the team come from his size, the faceoff circle he was one of the better faceoff guys for the team you need a guy like that for those crucial offensive faceoffs and defensive ones as he did all season on. The pk, plus he brings energy to the line up. Maybe its just me but that's what I've seen out of him
