    Totally agree, but Montreal is forced to overpay, if they want to get these guys (realistic contracts: Ladd $4.5-5 / 4 years, Okposo $4.75-5.5/ 6 years)

    Montreal is forced to overpay?....don't sign the guys then. Is Ladd really a difference maker, especially at this stage in his career? Okposo without Tavares how good is he?

    Okposo will be between .5 and .7 points a game without Tavares. Montreal need two top 6 winger, so they have to pay more at free agency if they want these guys. Ladd is not a difference maker but much better than every guy played this season on the second line.
