Kings decline. I'm sure you can convince them to take on Marleau's contract for you, but it's going to cost significantly more than a 4th round pick.

Why would Colorado or Winnipeg pay for Toronto's cap dumps???

Like way more .. It's a business game , everyone is loaded with contract to pay a lot of them are bad . At the very least a 2nd rounder tho i personnally think 2 or around .

I also like how everyone overvalues salary dumps ... realistically, Marleau being on the kings salary cap doesn't effect them whatsoever in the near future. LA could get a couple of mid round picks and be better set for the future .... a move that literally doesn't cost them anything to add assets for their rebuild.
