Well you have Martin, Greiss and Pulcok off the books, if you put Ladd on LTIR and possibly trade or buyout Leo you have yourself enough money, especially if there is a large increase in cap

Pulock is one of the RFA'S I'm talking about, he's gonna want a decent raise.

Yeah, but he has 2m coming off the books so his cap hit will probably only increase about 3-4m

Tatar for leddy is close to fair. Mayfield for kapanen makes a ton of sense for both teams. Tyler Johnson’s value will be tough to judge. Is tampa going to dump him to sign Karlsson? If so he might be had a good price.

Mayfield, not a shot at him, is not a similar talent to Kapanen. TB is not gunna sign Karlsson, they do need to worry about next years cap though, but their will be better offers out there to help them

Wrong. Mayfield proved to be a solid top 4 right shot defensive defenseman this season, who is signed for four more years at 1.45m per year. He has THE best contract in the NHL and would help the maple leafs tremendously given their cap situation.
