LA should rebuild, this deal saves them some money and some term on both contracts. Plus Benning is young enough to be part of the rebuild.

Yes they should rebuild but Quick and Martinez are the exact pieces that they'd trade for picks and prospects to fuel the rebuild, one 2nd round pick isn't nearly enough for one of those guys let alone both. They need young assets(picks/prospects) for a rebuild far more than the cap space this trade would give them and no Benning is too old to be part of any rebuild, he'll be on his way out by the time they're getting good again. Koskinen has absolutely no value to LA, they've got Campbell and Petersen to replace Quick already.
