MTL declines

Drouin did great last year
fans are just hard on him because of the big gaping hole in our LD we have from trading for him .

Honestly Sergachev's had more issues and set backs due to attitude then MTL has historically dealt with and if we kept him like many other stars that player here we would have shipped him out for less then he was worth after a public pissing match . Sergachev was brought into a situation where he was the heir to the throne guaranteed top 4 minutes which he got until after the All Star break when he lost Coach Coopers trust trying to attack a Ref during a game cause the team to go down short handed losing a game they shoulda won . Since then you can follow his minutes log and see Coach Coopers lack of trust . In the end they made a Massive trade for a LD signing him longterm so that the top 4 LD in TBL is untouchable until 2025 with Hedman and Mcdonugh leading .

Drouin's a keep who still young and getting better consistently . Given Drouin's basically the only Player on MTL disturbingly horrible PP ,its not in our best interest to move him no matter how good the return is outside landing a Generational Superstar .

i'd like to land Hall but honestly not for that Price .
MTL would be smarter signing Duchene UFA and building a team this year that might interest Hall enough to sign here . (i doubt he stays in NJD as its where career's go to die since the 2005 lockout

Well this isnt a knock on drouin, its just hall is an elite talent and to get you have to give

Too much for Hall not enough for Klef but solid looking team.

Not sure what I could add for klefbom maybe a solid D or G prospect

Well because you're fighting against 30 other teams as opposed to paying a fair price for 9 years of Hall
