Weaponizing cap space for picks

Description
Before you start bashing all my trades, realize that I traded with desperate teams:
Vegas and Tampa need cap space badly
Minnesota needs to make some changes since its core has 2-3 years left
Ottawa needs to reach the cap floor

Sauce some nice constructive criticism if you think the trades need to be modified. Obviously, I'm a canucks fan and might overvalue Canucks players

Lines:
1st line is a super offensive posession line
2nd line is a bunch of two way powerforwards who forecheck hard
3rd line a protected semi offensive line
4th line is a grindy checking line who can put points up from the wing

1st pair is asuper offensive with super defensive
2nd pair is a solid pair that has had chemistry in the past]
3rd pair is a promising rookie who needs to be shown the ropes from a vet who has been through it all. Schenn will tell Juolevi how to not bust like he did.

I then used https://fanspeak.com/nhlotc/draft.php to simulate the draft. I got pretty lucky with some of the players who fell to me
With the 10th overall selection, the Canucks select from the US development program, Trevor Zegras
With the 12th overall selection, the Canucks select, from Skelleftea of the SHL Philip Broberg.
With the 40th selection in the nhl draft the Canucks select from the US development program, Alex Vlasic
With the 48th selection in the nhl draft the Canucks select from Saint John of the QMJHL, Maxim Cajkovic

To me all of them makes sense minus Tampa, think Miller is a bit much but not out of the realm considering they just got swept.( I still laugh)

Good thoughts, all of the trades don´t look out of place.

Trade with Ottawa: I would keep Hutton - maybe you can insert a higher pick instead of his RFA-rights.

Trade with Minnesota: seems like they want to get rid of Zucker, so it looks in reach to get him - but also remember that he has a M-NTC and VAN could be on his list. With the emergence of Markström and the (already shown) talent of Demko, giving away DiPietro for the value of a 1st and Zucker makes sense - but I still don´t see MIN moving their 1st.

Trade with Vegas: maybe even Schaller is too expensive for the VGK - insert Gränlund in this trade instead of the one simulated with TBL and this could be a match.

Trade with Tampa: I think TBL has more need to get a cheap Dman instead of another offensive player (they still got still an incredible pipeline of players who haven´t played in the NHL yet like Barré-Boulet, Raddysh, Katchouk, Volkov, Huntington, Fortier) - so I would insert Biega, Sautner or the rights of Hutton (in worst case) instead.

I also think that giving away Miller for just one year of Callahans contract left would need to be sweetened by a mid-pick in 20 or 21.

Either way, I don´t see Schenn needs to be resigned and why you not resigned with Motte and Pouliot (heard he won´t get a chance in VAN any longer, so that´s why?!).

If Eriksson and Green can´t get along he needs to be traded to a rebuilding / cap-needing team for a prospect or a mid-pick (getting rid of his contract will be a nice give-away) - but for now he has a full NTC in my opinion?!

Boeser could get 8-8.5 if he picks 8 years.

And in case - sorry for my English, my German is much better wink
