What about Cizakas straight up? Both teams get a poor contract, but get back a player that fits their needs better at least...

Detroit should retain a million on Frans. Each team has an approx $4M cap responsibility. Seems fair

Cizikas just scored 20 goals, is a master on the PK and drives the 4th line. Not to mention one of the leaders on the team lol. Hard pass. His contract doesn't look bad at all anymore

Nielsen was the most overrated player the Islanders have ever had. It's no surprise he's struggling in Detroit. I don't want him back at that contract, we'll be enough of a cap crunch next season.

I like this. Leo probably has a little more in the tank than frans but I think frans has more to offer THIS season than Leo. Also Frans fills the 3C role while Leo is redundant with clutterbuck on the roster.

Lol no need to credit me. We’re just a bunch of jerks on the internet making fake trades. The only thing that would give me pause on these trades is if a Frans buyout is much worse than a Leo buyout.

Each guy will probably be bought out in the next two seasons.
