I like the trades, don't know how realistic the NYI one is.

Skip the Goligoski signing, and use Reilly as 3rd LHD. The cap will be better this year and next to sign RFA's. You're still pushing it tight.

The reason I signed Gologoski is because of the expansion draft. If you look at the roster that is the player I would take with protecting 7 forwards and 3 D. This way we protect Reilly from the draft. Otherwise I would completely agree with your take on the D. If Vegas took Goligoski that would free up a good amount of cap space. Then bring up Reilly for the end of the season and keep him under 40 games and move brodin over to right D.

Reilly is exempt from the draft, it would only be his second year pro, he signed as a FA right out of college last season. wink

You will need to protect the RFA's with expiring contract (Nino/Granny/Haula) unless you're ok with one of them getting chosen.

I'm a big Brock Nelson fan, but that seems a bit much to give up to get him. I agree with Wabit, skip the Gologoski signing. If you are going to sign a d-man, make sure he brings some piss and vinegar! If Zach Redmond can't play in the top 6 for Colorado, no thanks! And a very big NO THANKS on Marek Zidlicky - the Wild have been there, done that!
