PIT gets fleeced in every single trade except the JJ one

They will get fleeced no mater what, Horrible signings and trades on the blue line by Rutherford in recent years. (Matta could fetch 2 picks, Johnson to ottawa looks good).

If he could unload Matta, Johnson and Gudbranson , without having to take too much of a loss or take back a ****ty contract. I'd go have Jake Gardiner.

These trades are absolutely horrendous. Maatta could easily fetch a 2nd without retention. Another yinzer that blames a defenseman that’s a +61 for every goal and every loss. Sigh

Id Keep Maatta over Ceci. Jarry, Maatta, Rust and Kessel are all worth more. But JJ isnt on the team so you still did one good thing
