NYR Decline. We’re not conditioning the picks. Especially not when we’re taking back Bonino and the very likelyhood that Kreider stays in NSH. Get Tolvanen, Granlund or the 2019 1st in there.

Rangers pass. Bonino's a worse player on a worse contract, and the 2nd & 3rd don't equalize it. Not to mention the fact that the Rangers have no need for him. Kreider's getting a 1st+ if he hits the block

Nah. Bonino's decent. He has value. Also with that roster the likelihood of NYR getting at least one first is pretty high.

Still tho, Players like Kreider aren’t going to be conditioned like that. He’s to valuable to not be a shoe-in first. These sneaky conditions are repulsive and cowardly from NSH.

Kreider can bring you first+ I agree. However conditional picks are pretty regular.

But again, not for Kreider. He’s definitely bringing back a 1st. Rangers won’t do it again especially with how “backstabbed” they probably feel for the Zuccarello deal where DAL was a goal away from coming to fruition and probably won’t sign Zuccarello according to some speculation from Stars writers.

Out of curiosity, if Kreider were traded to NSH, what kind of return you consider as fair?

Nashville Predators
- F Chris Kreider (Extension in Place)
New York Rangers
- F Mikael Granlund OR F Craig Smith OR F Eeli Tolvanen
- 2019 or 2020 1st Round Pick.

That's overpayment imo. Value-wise there's no real difference between Granlund and Kreider... From last 3 years Granlund has scored better...

But look at how he played in NSH? They’d Most likely do it. And what about the other options?

Those are different in value but I'd do smith and a 1st for Krieder

He has played around 20 games in there...not to mention that he just had a child. It's too early to rate him as a bad acquisition.

Tolvanen and Smith both equal a first. I don't see Kreider being worth two straight first. Smith is the closest one, but why would NSH move a rental for anothet one?

Kreider likely re-signs and the deal would be around him coming back with Smith and a 1st

Geaux Preds is a preds fan who is interested in that deal so I guess it could work

Kreider is quite unlikely to sign because NSH have other pressing issues to handle, like Josi. The likelihood of either Kreider or Granlund leaving the team would be pretty high. Especially if NSH signs Duchene and keep either Turris or Bonino.

I see. Idk I feel like they’re good trading partners but you just into perspective the odds of that not being the case

Value-wise it could work, but it's illogical for a contender to move rentals. That just doesn't happen.

They could be good trading partners, but Kreider must be first considered as a rental value.

I could see it below $7M but Years I’m not sure on. It’s definitely not 8 but not lower than 5.
