I don't think MTL takes that. I feel like they would be interested in Leddy but I feel like Drouin is an overpayment

How about Danault or Tatar but take away the draft picks?

Yeah that would work! I'd think Tatar would be good for the Islanders too. Danault isn't going anywhere I think. He just had a very good season and we are not the strongest down the middle hahaha!

Isles would most likely risk Leddy for Tatar, even though the Canadiens would get the better end of that deal. Tatar does fill a need for a top-6 forward. Danault for Leddy is more fair. You don't think Domi-Poehling-Kotkaniemi-Thompson is strong enough that you can trade Danault for someone like Leddy? I think the Canadiens can take a risk like that.

Domi did a great job this season but if you want to compete you need more than Thompson to win faceoffs. KK and Poehling are very young and in the future they will be #1 and #2 centers for the team but as of now I don't feel like we can afford to give up Danault. Domi could move back to the wing when KK is ready for the first line. I like Domi as a center but I feel he could be a lot more dangerous as a winger.
