I'm not sure the Canucks do that trade without more assets going their way. The Caps would be lucky to get a pick for Bura, since his QO is so high. Virtanen would be a nice get for sure, but the Caps would have to add.

Also, Stephenson is overpaid. I can't see him getting more than 950k. He shoots less than most defensemen do. Hags also gets in the neighborhood of 2.5M-3M.

I think $2.5M over 3 years is reasonable for Hagelin. He's only 30, and is basically a PK ace. It just depends on if his speed declines in the next few years.

bura is worth maybe a 3rd round pick or a late 2nd....... you need to remember his QO is 3.25m.....thats a lot for a player who hasnt score up to potential in a while.

Stephenson is a 800k-900k player...I honestly would trade him for a 4th-5th round pick. wasting a roster spot imo

boyd isnt a good center hes much better at wing. but all in all the team is good....maybe don't sign orpik also Siegenthaler is much better than djoo
