Really like these moves but not getting enough back in TB trade. Maybe swap TBs 2nd rounder with their 1st.

I am 50/50 on whether they want to resign him. If they do, then just swap the 1st and 2nd. But if they don't feel like they will, makes sense to move him for assets.

I hope they keep him, as well. Just not sure what the Front Office thinks.

Kylington is a pretty good grab. I would like to get Bennett. Not sure if this is enough for both.

I don't think you can. That's an overpay from Calgary's perspective.

kylington and Bennet in return would probably take away the chance of another 1st round pick, which are probably more valuable to NYR than having Bennet would be, albeit a good player

That scenario is an overpay too. They had a deal done (Minny botched the paperwork) that was Frolik and a 1st for Zucker who has very similar value to Kreider. Any additional assets in this deal would be very marginal.

Not talking about the value, talking about a better trade that benefits NYR more then another LHD and a late 1st along with a older forward with one year left
Already had lots of late 1st these last years, already have a plethora of LHD and lots of forwards with one year left who we need to shed
Personally I would try get one quality asset like a mid first or one A- prospect at forward (preferably a RHS) or bank on a 2020 1st and hope it becomes a lottery pick (Scheen trade maybe with late 1st+next years 1st?)
