Saving cap with this trade and a change of scenery for players who I think can be rly good for their team. Saad and drouin would be a great 1-2 punch and gallagher fills the need of a scoring winger which saad didn’t do

So you buyout Seabrook to bring Boq up a year early, play Murray on the wrong side, and where's Jokiharju? Also, Kurashev won't be a center in the NHL, and where is Kampf? Kubalik? Wedin?

And most importantly, in what world is "scoring winger" a need? Defensively sound forwards and good defenseman are needs, and you traded away the second best defensive forward on the team and didn't sign the 4th best as an RFA.

Seabrook probably isn't going anywhere until at LEAST the Seattle Expansion Draft. Also, we're likely taking a center in the draft. The Gustafsson trade is bad value coming back. Make it Gus and Perlini for Ghostibehr.

No way Seattle takes seabrook and his terrible contract. Gus and Perlini for ghost is just stupid bc they’d need at least a first or beaudin. Keep in mind that byram led the WHL in scoring as a DEFENSEMAN.

Two firsts for Ghost? Don't think so. Dzingel makes at least 1mil more. Hayden is not an NHL player, let alone a 3rd line center. Murray is a lefty, Boqvist likely won't be in the NHL next year. You left a lot of holes for this team. That Philly trade is also terrible, Gus is worth a late first.

I edited and put in joki. Boq is looking rly good wym a year early. Boohoo if dmen play on the wrong side. And kubalik needs ahl time. Kampf and wedin are ass. Anisimov is dealt to clear cap

Gus had one good year and now people think he’s an all star. Keep in mind he was in Rockford literally for years

I am by no means a Gustafsson fan. But there were a bunch of reports at the deadline that teams were offering a 1st for him and Bowman declined. He may not be an all star, but he put up 60 points when he's making 1.2mil. No GM worth their salt is going to give up a guy like that for two 3rds.
