That package wouldn’t interest the Wild at all. If you want Spurgeon, start with your 2019 1st or Frost and Myers.

I don't see Toronto making that trade.

1. Marleau wants to go back to the west coast.
2. MacDonald only saves Toronto $1.25M
3. If you're effectively neutralizing the cap of Marleau with a bad contract coming back that equates to Kapanen for Ginning which is a vast underpayment.

The 1st or Frost AND Myers?? That seems like a lot to give up. The 1st is be more ok with than both of them

Ok. then we will pass and sign him as UFA a year from now. And yeah, Frost/Myers is worth much more than pick 11.
