The PHI trade is too big and not sure its right for PHI and certainly not for TOR. Gudas would be a great fit in TOR, but Andy MacDonald? And not sure PHI moves Patrick and Radcliffe. Maybe a smaller deal like Gudas and Patrick for Kadri and Zaitsev kind of thing.

The SJ trade, I just cant see it. Braun works for them and they have little cap space, I cant see them taking Marleau’s contract and adding Petan, who’s no youngster and Holl and a 4th isn’t really a good package. Petan and Holl aren’t sure NHL players and a 4th? Braun for Marleau and a 1st, just maybe, but again I cant see a capped team wanting a big salary, who just wants to retire near his family.

Marleau maybe moving west but its not going to be San Jose at any price.
