Description

Draft your future 2C because the 1,2,3 punch of Larkin,Zegras and Veleno shows a ton of young promise and depth. I really want Caufield but I don’t think you can pass up the playmaking ability of Zegras. I mean come on I’m ready for Zegras to Zadina. Bowey is a good trade piece to throw in so the Wongs can get back into the first round to grab Heinola.

Looking at the Wings young center prospects and the lack of solid D an Athanasiou+ for Trouba trade just makes too much sense for both teams.

Trouba,Hronek and Cholowski would anchor the Wings defense for the next 7-8 years, would be set on the back end.

Or you can keep AA and move him back to wing and Sign Krug and Possibly Trouba next year in free agency. Although I think Trouba may want to go to Florida so trading for him with 1 year left makes no sense.

Trading Bowey big mistake. It looks like Kronwall is coming back but it will only be one year. So at the end of next season Daley and Ericsson retire and maybe Green gets traded a the TDL but at this point I'm not sure the Wings would even extend his contract. If you trade Bowey that leaves DeKeyser as the only player with any real experience.
I'm also not sold on Zegras.

Yeah I know, really think Chevy has effed himself holding onto Trouba for this long though he doesn't strike me as an idiot so you've gotta think he's got an exit strategy for this situation no?

It does not make sense for us to trade AA. At least not right now. Wings struggle to score so we're going to trade one of our only two 30 goal scorers? No need to even make a trade for Trouba. If he wants to come here he will when he becomes UFA. We're in a rebuild right now, it makes no sense to trade away high end assets.

Many of those prospects have yet to even step foot on the nhl ice. Let's see what we have first before we trade away guys like AA. As for Trouba, he's from MI and his family is here. He's going to end up here one way or another. Even if it means spending another season in WPG or with another team until he hits free agency.

Wings aren't moving Bowey any time soon. I think he has a decent season this year. And Holland nearly drafted him.
