By finish the rebuild I mean to start competing again, to make the last three trades and then stop rebuilding
As for Kravstov, he could play the fourth line for a year to get his feet under him

Kravtsov is probably gonna get a few games at fourth line, Kakko too like most prospects do but both belong in the top-9
But if you want them to compete again then why shred the team of the veteran defensemen leaving one young top-4 guy and the rest rookies and Claesson? Sure one D can go and it will probably be Smith, but Staal and most likely Shattenkirk too unless NYR get Trouba should stay for one more year at least or that defense are gonna be too inexperienced to compete

This isn't really finishing up a rebuild since you buy out a handful of contracts which puts the team in a long-term worse cap situation
