What happened to Kessel's value lol, a week or two ago, Hinnostroza a first and POJ wasn't enough, but now Galch and a second (which still isn't terrible) is common lol, also COL rejects immediately, they wouldn't accept Hornqvist for a third OR Kerfoot

1) Kessel does not fit this teams identity at this point in his career. Also does not get along well with Sullivan. (this trade creates cap spacend flexibility going forward)
2) Galchenyuk is an enigma at this point in his career. Arizona gets a big boost to their powerplay and maybe Galchenyuk thrives in an offensive system on the wing with Malkin.
3) Not to mention this team gets faster much like their 2 cup winning years.
4) Kerfoot is a risky move to give up but Colorado needs more grit and experience and looks ready to challenge for the cup now with a good draft and a couple of free agent signings.
5) These moves also set the stage to transition to a rebuild with a good young group of players going forward.

nothing, people are just capfriendly trading as usual. GMJR has already said if the value isn't there they won't even consider trading him. Most people don't think he gets traded at this point as he won't waive his NMC
