That’s not a bad Zaitsev trade. A lot of dollars for Vegas though. Leafs might need to a small sweetener

Vegas can not afford that trade. They will just bury Clarkson's contract on LTIR, it makes no sense. Sorry, not much to be positive with there.

I also would HATE to dump a potential top-6 forward just to move a few guys off of our roster. What a waste of Kasperi Kapanen.

Yeah agreed. It doesn't show you the cap situation of the team you are trading with so it's hard to tell what their situation is. Unless it is displayed somewhere and I haven't found it yet.
