NSH PHI NYR looks real

Created by: Nik_SH
Team: 2019-20 Nashville Predators
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 12, 2019
Published: Jun. 18, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
After that Trouba trade i can easily imagine that NSH-PHI trade for that price.
After that, Preds update one of their 3rd line player to solid 2nd line player. NYR continue collect good Russian prospects. Jarnkrok still very good for his money and mb in new system he reach new lvl.

Why would NSH give up a first and a second along with PK for a worse defenseman and a slightly better 1st? That doesn't help them at all win a Cup while they're in the prime of the rest of their core players.

In this scenario they'd be better off just trading PK for Kreider, which would still be an overpay but at least gets the player they need without giving up more pieces.

As much as I like the trade as a Flyers fan PK's contract is so big that IF Hayes signs and all the RFA's sign for what I expect them to the trade can't happen unless a bigger contract is moved by the flyers as well or some salary is retained which isn't likely.

That's fine. It was an argument for comparison to the proposal sake anyway.

1) If NSH want to sign Duchene, their best choice/option - trade PK. Right now, not many teams can have additional 9m contract. Plus NSH need free cap space for over moves(that's why i do not rly like PK-Vorachek trade).
Upgrade 24 to 10 pick - very good. Do not forget about Seattle. I would prefer trade him right now, than lose for nothing after 1 season.
And yes, ofc Hagg can't fully replace PK, but he shouldn't. He isn't bad defender, but most important thing-he is so cheap and more than 100% he will not be taken by Seattle.
2) NYR already have Trouba, do not think they want to add another RHD. Trade like here-trade, that upgrade 3rd line player to 2nd, no more. Jarnkrok good and i like him, but i would prefer have 50 ppg forward for 5,5m, than 25-30 ppg for 2m. Only because NSH have so many young talante, but they are have no chance to play in our bottom 6. So, save money at bottom lines and upgrade your TOP 6.

I have no issue with the Kreider trade you proposed.

I just don't see NSH giving up PK plus two high picks to get a prospect and one higher pick back.

"giving up PK plus two high picks "... please check it again.
NSH earn: Hagg+2020 2nd+2019(10oa)
PHI earn: PK+2019(24oa)
In my universe this trade pretty similar to NYR-WPG(Trouba) trade.
