Rantanen can't get much more than Mackinnon, shorter contract (6 years) for Rantanen to get UFA earlier... Kadri and Kapanen are two top 6 forwards in my mind... Toronto has to make some cap salary space .. that would make sens to me that trade

i understand we are in need of a top 6 forward but do we really think kadri is the answer to our problems? Toronto replaced him and put their team into serious cap issues because he wasn't the right guy for them, i don't think he is the guy for us either.
