Why though? He had 6 more points than Stepan, has 2 more years on his contract and only makes 1Mil Less. You can say he wasnt on a playoff team. But neither was stepan.

I like Stepan, but I'd honestly rather go after the Yotes 1st round pick in a Zucker trade. Interesting trade, though.

I can see from a Minnesota standpoint that stepan may not be to desirable as there centers are already pretty old;koivu and staal...

If Stepan can get back to 50+ points again then I can see it’s possible. Zucker will get to 30 a couple more times at least.

True! I think both players need a change of scene. I feel like arizona is better match for zucker than stepan is for Minnesota.
