a 1st in 2022 and murray for Drouin is a non stater .
for Tatar we'd be willing to wait , even make it a conditional 2nd that becomes a 1st if Tatar re-signs .
but with Drouin we cant afford to wait 3 years for a return just to get Murray even if we do need him we're better off just paying out 15th pick for him with a prospect like Fleury ,Evans or Teasdale.

we gave up to much to get Drouin to wait but if you give up a 2020 1st it does it because the drafts in MTL and they can rally the fans behind the Return of Murray and a fresh 1st round prospect.

I have no skin in this game but I’ve never been too high on Murray or Drouin for that matter. Both guys who could have been great players are now just slightly above average.

Murray's a stay at home D good for 22-25 minutes who can play on special teams .
he's not flashy but he's a good 2nd/3rd Defense. maybe he didnt live up to top 5 but he's playing like a former 1st rounder.
