Last thing Vancouver needs is another overpaid third/fourth line center. They'd probably consider Craig Smith though.

Bonino was pretty great last year, the issue remains with Vancouver for sure, but I'd rather have him than most guys they have

Sutter, Spooner, Schaller, Beagle, Gaudette are all fighting for two spots. Sure, why not add one more spot to knock someone out. We want all of those contracts to expire, so it's very unwise to take on another player in the same calibre... UNLESS nashville were to take Spooner back.

I mean my only point was that the mistake was signing all of those guys (making money, Gaudette is whatever and Schaller sorta), and that getting Bonino wouldn't be the mistake in question

Fair enough, Smith could be a reasonable player for them. Trade would obviously shift some but my point was to show that I think NSH should dump Bonino if possible to anyone

Yeah Bonino is coming off the better year, selling on Turris is selling low and on Bonino it's possibly high
