Anthony Duclair have the same stats approximately and sign only for 1 year at 1,6M$. Why would MTL sign Lehkonen for 6 years at 3,2M$? It's a long contract and a risk for MTL no?

Yes, it's a risk, but Lehkonen is better than Duclair defensively, forecheck, hockey sense, leadership. We sign Brendan Gallagher 6 years 3.75M after one season at 22 goals. That was a risk, now he's a 30 goals scorer getting paid 3.75M. I expect Lehkonen to be a 20 goals 45 points scorer. This is a breakout year for him. If we sign him for a bridge and explose this season, he will get 4M after is bridge. I think thats why he didnt sign yet. Marc Bergevin isnt sure if he sign him a bridge or long term contract. He's a favorite from the coatch. Can play on every lines, play on the PP, PK, Overtime, when he's on the ice, the other team dont score.

True, if I remember well Bergevin sign Subban with a bridge and 2 years after that Subban value went up and Bergevin sign him for a 9M$ contract. That said, it is true that it would be smarter to sign him more money now because we will benefit in 2 or 3 years.
