JT Miller trade sets the market for a scoring winger. Feel Ehlers is a better player but costs slightly more in salary. Can see a deal looking like this.

Also fits the return they wanted for Trouba which is a roster player, prospect and a first.

Vatanen is a steal with 50% retained salary and can replace some of what they lost in Trouba and probably Myers for cheap. There's also the Finnish connection. I don't put much stock in it but some might.

Mcleod is a an above average prospect picked in the 1st round two years ago. Fast as hell and could be a middle 6 center who plays on the PK.

Speers is a low-risk/high-reward throw in. Looked close to the NHL two years ago but his development hit a snag. Change of scenery might bring out the player he was back then. If not, no real loss.

1st rounder is the main add and identical terms to the JT Miller trade.

Kulikov could be there or not, depending if the Jets want to shed salary. Don't watch to many Jets games so don't know what he brings to the team. My assumption is not a whole lot.
