Sharks Sign Pavelski Thornton Marleau Donskoi Meier Labanc Heed

Created by: CheechYou
Team: 2019-20 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 25, 2019
Published: Jun. 25, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Meier and Labanc take 2-year bridge deals.

San Jose's lineup should look very similar to this with the exception of one thing: it'll be interesting to see who Doug Wilson chooses to sign between Pavelski and Nyquist.

Sharks sign Pavelski Thornton and Marleau to employ one of the oldest lines in NHL history en route to Lord Stanley's Cup.

I’m pretty opposed to Marleau being there. Really just taking the place of one of the young guys trying to step up this year. I think it’s a bad idea and sends the wrong message to the prospects and I hope Doug is smart enough to see that. Also Middleton is not a viable partner for Karlsson, Vlasic was excellent with him so that’s a bad idea to break it up.

Drop Donskoi and give a bit of that money for Meier and Pavelski (a million each or something). Looks more realistic then.

I dont think Chemlevski, Chekovich, or Blichfield are ready for this season but a Pavs, Jumbo, Marleau line would have zero speed so it would have to be split
