Description

Do you think we could get Nyquist and Lee for this AAV and term? Also I really feel like Fix-Wolansky will slot in next year and it is hard for me to put Dubi in... but no reason to buy him out here. Also I signed Werenski that high because we have the space and I feel that is in the market of what his caliber D-man would be getting and he should only get better so hopefully it would be a steal later on. Sedlak is only signed for realism, I know he will be in the KHL.

no to both those contracts. Who in their right mind wants to play a guy till he's 35-36 years old.

I know I was just thinking realistically they would want longer contracts if they would choose to sign in Columbus and that seems to be how it is going these days anyway. Too much money and too much term.

Yea that is just the going rate these days, seems like everyone is getting overpaid. I was just trying to keep it realistic what you would have to pay these guys to get them to come to Columbus.

Combine the Lee and Nyquist contracts and give the money to Panarin instead. 8 years 15 mil to keep Panarin vs overpaying for Lee and Nyquist.
