I wish as a leaf fan to gain 4 first rounders be splendid. Lets say Colorado roughly finishes in late 20's 3 times and either wins cup or cup final once.. That still gives leafs leverage in the draft.

Hopefully not, couple of guys on this list shouldn't be on the team (like Andrighetto and Johnson), missing some players (Zadorov for example), Some guys who shouldn't be in the line-up at the place you have them and most importantly do not offershoot Marner lol. Nobody besides maybe McDavid are worth those 4 1st round picks. If they Avs are planning to offersheet someone, it should be Aho. Avs need a better 2C and the price for Aho will likely be less in terms of money and draft picks. Sure, the Canes probably match but the Leafs are going to match this too.

Edit: Forgot they traded the 2nd and 3rd round draft picks. But still, I rather give up 4 1st round picks for Aho than Marner

Why do you think EJ shouldn't be there? Leader of the D corps? I agree about Andrighetto and not offersheeting Marner. Zads would certainly be in ahead of Connauton.

You also say only McDavid is worth four firsts then say you'd rather give them up for Aho than Marner so no reason you would do that either, total contradiction.

The lines are also bad but I'm making an assumption ( though we know what it makes) that those haven't had much attention paid to them.

Haha I meant I wouldn't give up 4 1st round picks for any player besides McDavid, but if you're planning to give up those 4 1st's, I would prefer Aho since he's a center (which the Avs really need). Aho has shown that he can carry his team while Marner has played on a offensively stacked team

Gotcha. I'd agree McDavid is about the only player currently with that value at the right kind of age. Marner would be a very useful addition but not worth that much.
