It was 7.5 x 8 and Aho's camp countered with 9.5 all you did is stop the back and forth negotiations, and arguably made it cheaper. Thanks, now not only can you not spend up to the cap, but you can't move any of your own picks in the first 3 rounds this year....

We got Ryan Suzuki down at 28, we had what many insiders think was the best draft of the 31 teams. We have guys like Necas, Bean, Kuokkanen, Julian Gautheir, Jack Drury, Kotchkov was a stud for Russia at the IIHF's, Eetu Luostarainen was a stud for Finland... ours is defo up there. Don't get me wrong, MTL's is up there too, but I think ours is better, which may have a little bias.

Yeah, no **** lmao. Idc who it is, if you're getting a contract offered to you with 20 million in signing bonuses, you're signing it. Regardless of what team you're on or what team offers it. If he rejected it, our front office would have all the power. Now he is getting what he wants, 5 years and a ton of money. So of course he signed it.
