Description
You can choose to revert the Kessel trade if you want, bc hey look at that, we have cap space! We can now add a top 6 winger in December/at the tdl if we need to, also the Chairot signing is optional, he's there, so I signed him...

The biggest steal for the Blues in that trade was Oskar Sundqvist.

Probably, but they're not ****ed over by terrible contracts for the next 4-6 years, and they actually have cap space! To improve

They could have all the cap space in the world in 4-6 year and it wouldn't make a difference. In fact, they will have a lot of cap space in 4 years because Malkin and letangs contracts will be up. Then the window is closed and they will have to do a rebuild of some type.

Without Guddy JJ and Tanev we actually have cap space now, that we can use to upgrade in the next 3 years, plus I'd rather go into a rebuild like NY without any terrible contracts vs like Detroit with tons of them

Realistically though, even without those contracts they wouldn't have much cap space. Combined they take up 11 million. Pens need to move out 2.5-3 to sign their RFAs. That drips to 8 million to sign two defenseman and two forwards. Those guys would then average out at 2 million each for their cap hits. The pens still couldn't have been major players in free agency. They would have been bargain shopping.

You don't even have to pick up Frk off of waivers. Just call Detroit and ask nicely and they would just let you have him. Before the start of last season Detroit said offer sheet him and they won't contest or match it. Trust me Frk isn't going to be the ultimate winger for Crosby or any other team. He can only do 1 thing and that's shoot the puck very hard and it's no where near accurate. I don't think even he has any idea of where the puck is going to go once it leaves his stick. Google Frk and Girardi there is a clip of FRK shooting the puck of the side of Girardi's head.

Ultimate Crosby winger meaning he gets carried the most by Crosby, bc he's not good, but Crosby can carry him

Now I'm not doubting Crosby's ability to carry a player but trust me Frk isn't an NHL player and he is a LA King now.
