Description

Moving Ceci for a guy who is signed, RHD and who rumor has it the Leafs were looking at last year and who Flordia was looking to move.
Leafs pay him a sizable signing bonus before moving him, to make it more palatable.

Leafs sign Hutton on a 1 year show me deal to play bottom pair with Dermott/Pysyk depending.

That's not a "1 year show me what you got contract" and Hutton is a terrible Defenceman defensively. There's a reason the Canucks didn't qualify him. He's a 700k 1 year deal signing at best

It’s also $2 million less than Matthews, with one more year added to it. And Aho’s deal walks him to unrestricted free agency, and this one doesn’t for Marner.
