Why would we give up more on top of the guy who scored 40 points as a rookie for a guy that hasn't scored 40 points in his NHL career

Ideally he turns it around and produces, but you're right, pittsburgh doesnt really have a good track record with hoping that supposed good prospects turn out good (cough sprong cough pouliot)

Like the others say, Puljujarvi looks like a bust to me too, but you aren't giving up lots to get him - Kahun is probably quite replaceable as I doubt he has much more of a ceiling than he's already shown. so you could argue this is a low risk-high reward idea. I probably wouldn't do it myself, but if he turned into Naslund...

Ermm why on earth would you give up a 40 point scorer for a probable bust?

Side note I can see kahun chilling with Crosby and guentz and easily breaking 60 points

The most I would give for Puljujarvi is Simon and you'd have to convince me it's worth it. Because from what I've seen on the ice, it's not. That's saying a lot too.
