I dont mind this... I do think Caleb Jones might be a better player for the bottom pair at this point vs. Dion.

what is your take on nikita gusev? I posted a team just below this with an idea for him. I think he could be a game changer top 6 player given the right opportunity. I don't think it is realistic that the oilers will get him though. Sounds like some lucky team will.

I think Gusev would be a great help, but as you said doesnt look like the Oilers would be lucky enough. I do agree that Jones could be better, better option invite Phaneuf for training camp trial basis for competition on the blueline, If Jones beats him out then no signing needed.
