I will try to go through every team alphabetically

Description
Hopefully I don't forget to go through all the teams. Anyway ...

The Ducks are in a rebuild. That's what it seems like. I know you might say Phaneuf shouldn't be signed by a rebuilding team, but at 1 year, 750K, it's totally fine if you ask me. He brings some experience for some of the young guys. I'm not sure who is expected to make it and who isn't. Are Steel, Comtois, and Guhle expected to make the team? Larsson played quite a bit this past year and I'd expect him to be back.

Thoughts?

Zegras stays in school for two years (although some predict a one-and-done), so won't sign this summer.

Steel, Comtois and Guhle all should make the team. Silfverberg plays RW. Kiefer Sherwood and Max Jones compete with Deslauriers and Grant for the last two forward slots barring some new development.

Kesler is on LTIR as he is almost certain to miss the entire season, and may never play again. We're going to miss him. Eaves will be buried in San Diego, and we won't miss him.

Josh Mahura, another LD, developing fast (one prospect authority has him now ahead of Larsson) and could soon be in the mix.

Their one weak spot is RD after Manson.

1) Didn't know that about Zegras. Can't he sign an ELC and still return to school? Or can that not happen?
2) I thought about Sherwood and Jones. They probably wouldn't have traded a pick for Deslauriers if they're just sending him to the minors though. The thing i'm bad with is lines. Silfverberg has player both LW and RW i thought?
3) I know Kesler is probably done, but Anaheim doesn't need the cap space right now. It's better not to put players on LTIR unless needed. Is Eaves done, too? I thought he was, but maybe not.
4) I wasn't sure about Mahura. I considered putting him on the team.
5) Agreed, the RHD isn't great. I put Phaneuf in the lineup over Holzer even though Holzer is a RHD and Phaneuf is a LHD. Holzer can be the 7th though. I just think it would be a good idea to put Phaneuf in the lineup as see how he does. He could be a good signing for them.

No, signing a professional contract eliminates a college player's eligibility.

My choice of a free agent that might help the Ducks is Joe Morrow, who is also a leftie (like Phaneuf), but I don't think that Murray is headed either way.

Phaneuf could be a good signing for experience. We'll see though ...

Terry isn't a center. Rakell doesn't play RW, he's a full time LW. You don't put a rookie center on the 4th line, Steel is the 3rd line center. Silf probably won't play on the left side, barely has any time on it. Hampus is the #1 LHD, not #2. His D partner is Manson. Fowler is going to be the 2RHD this season with Guhle as the 2LHD
