Offer Sheet will be closer 12.5, demoting Holl (and using Dermott LTIR instead) gets you part of the way there but would still need Florida to retain around 1M which would cost a pick

this is an example of the ease at which an OS could be thwarted though

wish Dubas (who has done an amazing job) would have set up Ceci to go to ARB. or SB the max to make the contract easy to either walk away from / trade

but in the end trading one of Nylander/Ceci/Kerfoot; gets you under the cap, match an OS and maybe even improve D

My goodness people are dumb wanting the picks instead of Marner. None of those picks will get the leafs close to the caliber player that he is.
