When does MacKinnon look around at what his peers of lesser talent are making and decide to hold-out for a renegotiated contract?

I get your point lol. But can he do that? I can't say I've ever seen that happen in the NHL.

I'd do something like this for the bottom 3 lines:
Jost-Kadri-Burakovsky
Ferland-Compher-Donskoi
Wilson-Bellemare-Nieto

I think the Avs are expecting jost and burakovsky to be top 6 players this year. I hope that works out!

He wont until his contract is up. A couple years ago he can out and said money isn't what motivates him. He more or less said what Pasta said this year.

Considering Aho who is a center and put up 90 points just signed an OS that pays him under 9 million. Its looking more and more likely we can get him for 9.5 million on a 6 year deal

Stop with the Ferland to Colorado. Its not happening. There is a reason why he hasnt signed yet. He wants too much term and not worth the $$$ he will want.. he is a 40 point player who was just healthy scratched in the playoffs cause he wasnt good.

Me neither, but I would think the thought has crossed his mind.

Well then good for him. It's nice to see that in a professional athlete. The man deserves more money than he's making though.
