I have to think there is little to no chance Backes plays for them and I don't see any way they don't get Studnicka, Steen and or Lauko in the lineup.

If they can't move Backes, my guess is they send him to providence. Won't help them finacially, but may sway his decision to veto trades to certain markets. I can't imagine riding the bus would be something he enjoys at this point in his career, It's the only leverage they have...

Moore and Miller might start season on IR - Once they are healthy, I don't see them carrying both.
