I do not like Yak and draft picks won't be in NHL until earlier 2020s. From a Blackhawks perspective, this is a horrible trade. A team in which the window to contend for a Stanley Cup is open would not make this trade. This trade would make sense if it was DET and EDM. DET's window to win cup is currently closed.

I heard the Krüger rumours and wanted to try out what's possible with him gone. Modified the trade, any suggestions how to make the trade at least barely balanced?

Agreed with the short window, but the cap is what it is. Make the 1st rounder this year and I'd be fine. Hawks really need a top 4 dman for a year or two...BC is a perfect fit.
