Zajac is going to play more minutes than Hughes, Zacha and on some nights Nico. I would think that the 2nd line opening night will be Coleman-Zajac-Simmonds. The biggest question is will Palms or Bratt be on the top line RW.

Gotta send one guy down. This is really good, however I would put Hayden on Boqvist and Zachas line. Send Bastian or Rooney down

I think any of those 3 plus maybe anderson will be competing for that spot this year in training camp.
Imo Hughes needs a more skilled player on his line to play with, i.e. Bratt. BUT with Bratt being on the top line, its does bring back the line that dominated early in the season when Hall won the Hart. So a tough decision is to be made there. Simmonds imo can flourish on a line with Hughes and Bratt, crashing the net while also utilizing his hand eye coord. and shot from the top of the circle from skilled passers such as Hughes and Bratt.
Palmieri, however, is not a first line winger. So that problem also comes into play if those scenarios fall into place.
I do also think Mcleod takes that final spot. From the development camp footage ive seen, he looks sharp. Zajac line is a shutdown line, it will play against the top lines in the NHL and therefore accumulate high minutes every game from such.
We will not, and hopefully should not play Greene with Subban. Smith will make the team and will be sheltered at times to protect him but he can steal the show in the perfect world. I think Muller has become expendable. My lines, if the roster stayed the same, would be as follows...
Hall - Hischier - Palmieri
Simmonds - Hughes - Bratt
Mcleod - Zacha - Boqvist
Wood - Zajac - Coleman
Vatanen - Subban
Butcher - Severson
Greene - Smith
