I was trading for Gusev too but the more I thought about it .... Do we really want to pay a 5'-9" - 159lb guy that never played in NHL $3-$4m per ??? If he took like $2m-$2.5m maybe ??? Who knows tho, maybe he does great?

Yeah it's definitely a risk but you never know, could be a stud, and that's the hope. I could see GMJR trying it but I just don't know. Maybe try to get him on a one year contract for $3-$4 and hope for the best, or more term for cheaper idk.

Yah, I was all for it before when he wanted $2-$2.5m ... but now that he wants $3.5-$4m, IDK now?? But the best thing w/ him is that he is a RH forward & could fill the Kessel Left wall problem on PP if he does work out.
