before anyone comments on AA, and Mantha's contract. Keep in mind they have one more year where they will preform and both hit 30 + goals. AA signs for less in hope for a bigger deal 5 yrs down the road. Mantha is just a happy guy. They only need a few trades and keep developing the young guys. keeps cap room for their signings

No way we take Calle Jarnkrok back, We traded him for a reason. He wanted no part of Detroit he wanted out of the organization.

From my understanding he was traded to pick up Legwand, a veteran player in hopes of helping the playoff run. There was talk of him wanting to return back to Sweden, I don't remember anything about him wanting to leave Detroit other then going back home. The trade left him no choice but to leave. Again coming back is to help bring in an older guy 30 point player to be a 4th liner at a cheaper rate then abby. Really any player they can add that's 30 point player for a couple years lift at 2M-3M to play the 4th line would be fine. They would have the cap room as well to not make that trade and keep Nielsen doesn't really matter

The reason we traded him was to get Legwand and at that point not much was left to give.
