The idea of bringing in Hall is great, but it doesn't work for the Coyotes. Chayka does nothing but preach premium positions, and center depth is a huge part of that. Given the money issues that this trade causes, it makes it so that Stepan almost certainly has to be traded in order to retain Hall, and since Dvorak is being dealt in the trade along with Soderberg walking, it significantly weakens their center group. And then there's the issue of ensuring Hall gets locked up. Chayka would have to get creative to pull off something like this
