Jets get to pick the length of the term though so he will be around for another 2 years, and the arbitrator will likely split the difference so 2.2 x 2

Once the hearing concludes, the arbitrator must issue his decision to both sides simultaneously (by e-mail) within 48 hours, and it will include the term, salary, and a brief summary of the reasoning behind the decision.

Yeah obviously it takes two to make a trade but there'd be teams interested in Lowry so trade him and sign Riley Sheahan to a cheap deal, he'll probably have to settle for half of what Lowry makes, hearing speculation that Brassard might have to settle for a million dollar deal, there's options out there.

Copp is better than Lowry, they should be trying to lock him up though he probably just wants out of town.
