couple players id like chevy to sign
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MisstheWhalers</b></div><div>LA fans have made it clear they're not trading for Dillon.
I like the Sprong signing, wish Chevy would target some of these lower tier guys that still have some upside, wouldn't mind seeing Donato, Milano or Heinen signed.
Even if the Jets suck next season which seems like a distinct possibility at this point it'd still be nice to see some new faces in the lineup and some guys who might be able to contribute some damn goals from the bottom six would be great to see.</div></div>
its not that they didn;t want Dillon it is because of there cap situation i had a way lower cap hit on LA than what it is i don;t think they will be that bad a new coaching staff can do wonders i only made 1 trade but it will be interesting to see what RB system looks like and if Chevy does something

arbitration W L 2 years and no moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Canoehead</b></div><div>If Dubois elects for arbitration, the Jets will choose a 1yr term. Then the team would trade Dubois with 1yr of team control left and before QO's go out in the summer of 2023 like they did with Trouba so that it is more attractive for the acquiring team (pay for 1yr RFA and 6yrs of UFA if they go max term).</div></div>
if they go 1 year i still think he will get 8M he screwed himself in a way saying he wanted to test the market

Copp conditions. Conditions are a 2nd that can turn into a first for winning two rounds in the playoffs and Copp play 50% of the playoff games. and another 2 that can be wpg option in 22 or 23.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tsyls</b></div><div>Arbitration hearings will be held from august 11th until august 28th, not sure on the exact dates for Copp and pionk. I’d much rather see pionk signed longer, even if that means you have to pay him 6 million and trade Copp. You and I are somewhat on the same page when it comes to Copp and his play style. I do think he’s effective, but is replaceable and likely would be a regret if signed to that deal.
Chevy will make it fit somehow, but not likely in a way we love lol.</div></div>
will be interesting to see whose case goes first could open the jets up to a offer sheet i think Stanley gets short changed on a contract but he could be offer sheeted as well

to show how disappointed some of us season ticket holders are with the lack of doing anything right now. we have 35 out of 50 contracts signed i expected to see some 1 way or at least a 4th line player signed

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Canoehead</b></div><div>The package isn't good enough for St. Louis. They would be giving up one year of a top 4 D for one year of a middle six forward (3rd liner, maybe his ceiling is 2nd line wing) and an AHLer.</div></div>
that is fine but my response was to no they wouldn't and as some else stated thought the deal needed to be better could be a starting place for a deal. Seems like Copp some are really high on and some think he is at best a solid 3rd liner

I'd rather swap Mcleod for Foote or Bahl but if it had to be 20th I could live with it, and would prefer Niku coming back as well. If you were looking to lose Perrault I would take him on too, not the best cap hit but gives us another roster player coming back. losing 2 firsts in the top 20 this year is steep but I love Laine and he'd be a great fit. puts a lot of pressure on Devils staff to hit big with the 18th pick.</div></div>
If i was throwing in Perrault and Niku i'd want 20 and Foote and you can have Mcleod and we'd keep Nogier

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jimmyjets</b></div><div>Instead of McLeod could it be 18OA or 20OA?
If it could be 7OA + 18OA + Severson + Zacha for Laine + (you have Nogier, who may not even get a qualifying offer so I'm going to suggest Niku instead)
Jets would have 7OA, 10OA + 18OA plus attempt to patch 2 holes with Zacha getting a shot at 2C and Severson getting a chance on the top pair for our RHD.
I'd say yes to that trade and then probably try to move Pionk in a seperate trade for a team looking for a top 4 RHD and extend Demelo instead as Severson would take his place on the PP.
At 7 we could take one of Laf, Byfield, Stutzle, Rossi, Perfetti, Lundell or Drysdale. Then take Jarvis at 10OA and maybe Schneider at 18?
It would be super tough to see Laine go but I think the Jets would have to say yes here.
As for the OP. Tafolli isn't signing here and IMO we wouldn't bring in Hutton, it would be Beaulieu if we couldn't get Dillon and then Dahlstrom as the pressbox guy with Samberg on the third pair. Also Little is probably LTIR</div></div>
don't see NJ giving 2 first round picks up unless they are in love with Mcleod as for Toffoli he might at that price and term i wanted to change the d core and i cannot put Little on LTIR until i know 100% for sure

NEXT YEAR Little on LTIR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MisstheWhalers</b></div><div>I just don't get the fascination with trading Roslovic especially for just picks, if he's an add on in a big trade to get a much needed quality center or a top RHD then sure but for a pick or two that aren't going to make any difference for at least two seasons at least then what's the point? Are the Jets trying to be good now or three years from now? Look at Samberg, was a 2nd round pick in 2017 and will be playing his first pro hockey in 20-21, the 4th season after he was drafted! Some draft picks take a long time to develop if they even amount to anything at all, picks are nice but they aren't sure things.
And these proposed trades where Roslovic is used to dump Perreault are even worse, would be just another repeat of the gawd awful Mason trade where the Jets lost Armia for nothing.
If all Roslovic is worth is a 2nd and/or 3rd or someone else's B-prospect that hasn't done much then I really don't see what's the point of trading him. I thought he looked pretty good this season and was his best when playing center which is the Jets biggest positional weakness, maybe he can still grow into the 2C they need or at least provide some depth at the position, he is already that though, an option to play center when needed. A bit more production would be nice but he was on pace for 30+ points which isn't terrible and he was shuffled around a lot, not easy to find a groove when you're moved all over the lineup, he spent time playing either center or wing on three different lines including the grinder line, he's kind of a versatile player actually.
Lastly do some Jets fans not realize this was only Roslovic's second full season?! Not every player has the same development curve, it took Scheifele years till he could stay on his feet.. Lol, Roslo's first full season was handled really badly by both the GM and coach, no way he should've been tasked to be the 4C with two other rookies on his wings, Chevy should of added a couple cheap veteran wingers to help him get acclimated to playing center in the NHL.
This season there were some definite strides made in Roslovic's all round game, at this point his value isn't much but there's still top 6 potential, would way rather hang onto him and see how he develops and hope he grows into a top 6 forward then trade him for a so so pick or someone else's meh B-prospect.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>I couldn't agree more, for the ice time and linemates he's been given, he's done well.
I have nothing against trading him, but as you say it's pointless if we're trading him for meh. They only way I see him getting moved is in a package deal for a 2C or top 4RHD.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>I couldn't agree more, for the ice time and linemates he's been given, he's done well.

i think he has more chances to show what he can do i have NO PROBLEM TRADING HIM plus i don't think he wants to be here so i would trade him i have taken picks because i do think this draft will provide some big talent in the later rounds and i trust the scouting staff to pick some gems
