The package isn't good enough for St. Louis. They would be giving up one year of a top 4 D for one year of a middle six forward (3rd liner, maybe his ceiling is 2nd line wing) and an AHLer.

that is fine but my response was to no they wouldn't and as some else stated thought the deal needed to be better could be a starting place for a deal. Seems like Copp some are really high on and some think he is at best a solid 3rd liner

Yeah, I think Copp's ceiling is the responsible winger on a 2nd line, he doesn't have the hands to be a 2C on a playoff team. I think 3LW is probably where he is best though he can be easily moved over to 3C if there is an injury.
